Diego Brandao Arrested After Allegedly Striking Strip Club Employee With Gun

According to the Albuquerque Journal. UFC fighter Diego Brandao has been arrested after allegedly striking a strip club employee in the face with a gun. Brandao reportedly argued with the DJ at Albuquerque strip club Knockouts before leaving the establishment. He was later denied reentry and allegedly began attempting to punch club employees before leaving a second time. He then returned again, with a gun and allegedly pointed the gun at a patron and employee before striking the employee with the weapon. He was reportedly charged with aggravated battery and three counts of aggravated assault. Brandao is currently under temporary suspension from the NSAC, due to testing positive for marijuana metabolites following January’s UFC 195 event.

The UFC has not responded to a request for comment at this time.
